My philosophy of life is that if we make up our mind what we are going to make of our lives, then work hard toward that goal, we never lose--somehow we win out.

No fireworks in the Brisbane area but the USS Kitty Hawk and it's entire accompanyment did sail into Sydney Harbour yesterday, along with nearly 7000 US service-people. :) On the morning news they said that it is expected the soldiers (etc) will spend nearly 2 million dollars a day while in Sydney (total, of course). So here it will be "Happy 6th-8th July" for the Aussies! :)
